Our Competitive Advantage in Transportation Management
Our
management center in St. George, Utah, is the most sophisticated computerized
transportation facility of its kind.
We utilize an electronic ride verification program. ALC's proprietary technology
and GPS reports are available on a daily basis. The user will be given a
secured log-in via our website to view transportation information, including
passenger name, time and location of pick up, miles driven, and drop off time
and location on a daily basis, or real time.
All vehicles will be equipped with proprietary software and
GPS
enabled Blackberry®, allowing the dispatch center live trip tracking
(no additional charge).
Using a secured log-in, the user is able to select the day and time to find the
passenger to track.
The trip can be viewed in two formats: events or maps. The events show all
activities associated with the trip, including the pick up and drop off of the
passenger. By clicking on the map located with the events, the user can view
the map of the appropriate event. A car appears on the screen at the
coordinates any time the driver touches the call, calls the dispatcher, or
queries the system for assistance. Clicking on the map function allows the user
to view the route and a detailed screen of the pick up and drop off location.
The dispatch system record, time stamps, and saves all information and events
generated during the course of the route. All information entered into the
system, everything a driver does and every response to every event or
occurrence is captured into the dispatch database. GPS technology and time
stamping allow us to recreate events on a map that are easily viewed and
printed out. Through daily database archiving, the vehicle, driver, operation
and client information are always available and can be reviewed by management
personnel at any time.
